Google CEO defines Web 3.0

It looks to me, though, that his definition more approaches web 2.o–the applications being “pieced” together, “customizable” and “distributed virally”. Hasn’t it already happened in the past 2-3 years? Social networks, collaborative development and API sharing are some of the tenets of web2.0, and whatever web3.0 may be was not properly captured by Mr. Schmidt in this video.
