Superman Returns: “Not as fun as Spiderman nor as groundbreaking as Batman Begins”

superman returns

I haven’t seen Superman Returns, so I’m relying on Luis (and his army of film reviewers at Filmcrowd) for a good review of the latest adventures of the flying blue tights.

It’s certainly a thrilling spectacle of a movie, and much better than Singer’s previous X-men flicks, but it’s nowhere near as groundbreaking as last year’s Batman Begins, or as fun as Spider-man 2.

Get ahead even when you don’t have an MBA degree

Filed in General by Kaye on

Entrepreneur Rajesh Setty published a free mini-ebook about how to get ahead even when you don’t have an MBA degree, titled When You Can’t Earn an MBA. It does not necessarily tell the reader that MBA is a waste of time, but that when one can’t have the degree, there are a number of things a person can do with the time that would have been spent in graduate school.

Here be the list:

  1. Check your attitude.
  2. Design an alternate plan.
  3. Acquire knowledge at breathtaking speed.
  4. Belong to powerful networks.
  5. Build great long-term relationships.
  6. Volunteer for engagements of higher value.
  7. Lead a volunteer effort.
  8. Work with a startup for free.
  9. Make others win.
  10. Get a good mentor.
